AW GIS Database
Aquatic Warbler Conservation Team maintain the ArcView database of all of the world’s AW sites: breeding, stopover and wintering.

 

Current stage of data available.

Breeding sites. This part of the database is the most completed and it includes:
  • site borders
  • borders of actually occupied habitat (AOO)
  • borders of potential habitat
  • count information for the last available year

Migratory stopovers are presented as dots for the countries as follows: Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal and Spain. The data for the remaining countries still to be collected.

Wintering sites are presented as dots.

In a later step the database will also include historical sites.

 

The database or any of its elements is not widely available.
